Barry Fraser, ESCO joins ESPS

December 9, 2007

ESPS Electrical Safety Program Solutions INC. is glad to welcome aboard our team Barry Fraser, ESCO, as a Senior Project Manager. 

Barry is a Journeyman Electrician and an Electrical Safety Codes Officer (ESCO) in the Province of Alberta. He has 34 years experience in the electrical trade. He is a voting member of the new CSA Z462 Workplace Electrical Safety Standard Technical Committee.

Barry was the person responsible for the energization of major power systems and sub-stations (i.e. 25kV, 5 kV and 600 volt) at a major oilsands mining and processing facility in the Fort McMurray, Alberta area.  He has Alberta Construction Safety Association and ISO Lead Auditor training qualifications. He specializes in Electrical Audits, QA/QC, Electrical Safety Programs, Electrical Equipment Maintenance, Testing/Commissioning, Work procedures, and new power system Energization procedures.

Barry also brings a strong electrical safety background, and is genuine in his efforts to ensure electrical and non-electrial worker safety, in safe installations and safe work practices.
