Sponsored by the Industry Applications Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., the IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop is a transnational technical forum organized by the IEEE IAS Petroleum & Chemical Industry Committee. Since its founding in 1991, it has served to accelerate the dispersion of information and knowledge impacting electrical safety.

This is the premier showcase for NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace papers and tutorials.  In 2007 over 500 people attended this conference in Calgary, Alberta, CANADA to share their knowledge and learn more about how to protect electrical workers.  This workshop also includes a world class exhibition of products and services to assist the owner or contractor with mitigating risk.
