ESPS Electrical Safety Program Solutions

The management of ESPS Electrical Safety Program Solutions INC. (ESPS) would like to welcome the following two new members to our team, effective August 1, 2007, Dr. Prodipto Ghosh, Ph.D. (EE), MBA has joined ESPS in the capacity of Senior Project Manager.  As well effective September 8, 2007, Mike Doherty, Senior IEEE Member, has joined ESPS in the capacity of President and Senior Management Consultant.

With this strong team in place ESPS will be able to accelerate deployment of it’s business plan in providing electrical safety program consulting services and web-based services to it’s clients.

ESPS, an Alberta, Canada based company started business on June 1, 2007 with Terry Becker, P.Eng, CEO & Senior Management Consultant hitting the ground running.

What is ESPS all about?

ESPS is a new consulting services company that will be specializing in electrical safety.  Our core business will be to provide:

  • Electrical safety consulting services
  • Electrical Safety Program development
  • Electrical Safety Program audits
  • Interpretation of electrical safety standards and regulations
  • Web-based electrical safety resources
  • Electrical safety training

More details with respect to the services that ESPS will be providing will be available on our corporate website over the next four (4) months, the next release of our website will be launched September 10, 2007.

Our website , exciting developments on there way!!

ESPS’s website went live June 22, 2007 with a “first face” providing a home on the web, a brief introduction to the company, and contact information.

ESPS has aggressive plans to make our website the premier electrical safety resource centre for all of Canada, with plans to expand the resources and make them available outside of Canada.  The website will of course provide information about Our Company, information on Electrical Safety, our Products & Services, information on Regulations & Standards, a News & Events section. and a Resource Centre for electrical safety information.

As the website grows you will see the evolution of some new and innovative tools on the website, some of these we will be offering exclusively to our clients.

We also want to create an ESPS Community, a platform for people concerned about electrical safety to share information and experience, grow their knowledge and create a think-tank for a Canadian electrical safety community that would positively guide all workers on how to remain safe from the hazards of energized electrical equipment.

Where are we going?

It is busy right now at ESPS, but we are up to the challenge as we build this new company.  Our value to our clients will be our team, our commitment to our clients, and our commitment to electrical safety.

Over the next four (4) months we will start engaging ourselves in offering electrical safety audit, training and program development to our clients, have a presence at electrical safety conferences in Canada, marketing our new company and will be finalizing our website.

A significant element on our website will be the ESPS Online Training System (OTS).  We believe there is a role for an e-learning environment in an electrical safety program and will be providing this service.  Look to the website for more information as this evolves.

We look forward to providing excellence in service, and growing our company into 2008 and beyond!!
